This Tsumami Kanzashi workshop lets you create a beautiful Japanese hairpin using authentic techniques that are over 300 years old. You get to choose from nearly 100 different fabrics, each with unique colors and patterns, and craft your own piece with guidance from a Japanese artisan. What I really appreciated was how beginner-friendly it felt. Before starting, they show you a short video explaining the history and process in English, so you actually understand what you’re making and why it matters. The experience doesn’t stop there.
